G.Jabiyev / The newspaper Yeni Azerbaijan, which is the printing body of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP), will hold a range of reforms to increase the quality of the newspaper, Hikmat Mammadov, the new editor-in-chief of the newspaper, reported to Trend .
The activities of Algish Hasanoglu, the former editor-in-chief of the newspaper, were stopped during a YAP meeting on 28 February. Hikmat Mammadov, the former head of the State Land and Cartography Committee, replaced Hasanoglu.

YAP was founded in Nakhchivan on 1992. The All-National Leader, the late Ex-President Heydar Aliyev was the first Chairman of the Party. President Ilham Aliyev is the present Chairman of the Party, which has been ruling for 14 years.
