Azerbaijan, Baku, 1 December / Trend corr. T.Jafarov/ "We are not against burying the hatchet with opposition forces. But the process should take place in accordance with the country's Constitution and within the peace plan that was passed last year," said Yunis Ganuni, Speaker of the Afghan Parliament.

The way to eliminate terrorism does not envisage concessions but a severe fight, said Ganuni.

Peace should be struck taking into account the interests of the Afghan Government.

Taliban is an opposition movement. They want foreign troops to be withdrawn from the country and call on people to unify under the banner of Islam.
