Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 23 / Trend , N. Kirtzkhalia / "The treaty with the United States will assist in Georgian peaceful development," Georgian president Michael Saakashvili stated at the meeting of the National Security Council on Dec.23.
"We are discussing the possibility to enter the level of strategic cooperation but I would like to emphasize once more that we are currently negotiating over it," Saakashvili said. According to President, the countries which could conclude such kind of agreement with the most powerful country in the world could succeed in development.
"All our efforts, as well as this agreement aim at uniting and strengthening Georgia," Saakashvili said.
