Georgian Laborite Party leader Shalva Natelashvili urges the leaders of the United States and Russia not to interfere into Georgia's domestic affairs.

The leaders of these two countries would be better to pay attention to global problems and lingering conflicts. The Georgian people will themselves decide whom to elect the head of state, Natelashvili said to a news conference on July 6.

Natelashvili relates Georgia's latest problems to the Russia-U.S. fighting for influence in the South Caucasus, particularly in Georgia

"Conflicts in Georgia, war, occupied territories, and refugees are directly connected to it. Our objective is to unify Georgia on condition the Georgian people establishes its future without external interferes." Natelashvili stated.

Natelashvili said he does not expect anything constructive for Georgia from today's meeting between the presidents of Russia and the U.S.
