Canadian Military Attache, Colonel Sylvain Lescoutre arrived in Georgia and held meetings with Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze and Georgian Joint Staff Deputy Chief Davit Nairashvili today.
The sides discussed plans for future cooperation, the implementation of a national program on Georgia's integration into NATO and the participation of Georgian servicemen in ISAF in Afghanistan, the Defense Ministry said.
During the visit, the Canadian military attache will visit the Alekseevka and Marneuli military bases.
The visit will end Nov. 13.
