Musavat party and the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan  (PFPA) decided to nominate a single candidate in three constituencies, PFPA Deputy Chairman for Political Affairs Fuad Gahramanli told Trend today.

"The parties have today held a meeting. I and Musavat Party Central Executive Office Head Arif Hajili also took part in the meeting. The sides exchanged views on a constituency and agreed on common candidates in three constituencies. So, the number of coordinated constituencies reached 73," Gahramanli said.

Musavat leader Isa Gambar proposed unifying his party with the PFPA on July 15. The two parties are continuing talks to determine unified candidates in the majority of the constituencies.

The parliamentary elections will be held Nov. 7. Previous elections were held in November 2005. The elections are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
