Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki will visit Iran in near future, Iranian Journalist Club Agency reported.
During the visit Al-Maliki will discuss Turkey's and Iran's attack on PJAK terrorists in Iraqi Kurdistan, expansion of bilateral relations between the countries, attraction of foreign investment to Iraq.
Al-Maliki also plans to visit the United Arab Emirates , Turkey and Qatar.
Iran has recently deployed 5,000 military forces in the northwest of the country along its common border with Iraq to carry out military maneuvers with a view to stabilize the situation on the border area and fight the counterrevolutionary groups.
Members of the terrorist PJAK group - an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) - regularly engage in armed clashes with Iranian security forces along the country's western borders with Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
