A joint meeting of the Ambassadors of Kazakhstan Nurlan Yermekbayev and Turkey Murat Salim Esenli with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Chen Guoping was held on July 13 in Beijing, Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting, Yermekbayev and Esenli invited Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on behalf of Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Turkey to attend the 4th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to be held in Astana on September 12
Yermekbayev touched on China's active participation in the process of the CICA and the possible presidency of the forum in the future.
Guoping, in turn, said China fully supports the activities of the forum from the beginning.
