New composition of the Central Election Committee (CEC) will be formed after parliamentary elections, the CEC member Envar Aliyev told Trend.
It should be noted, the CEC composition is formed from the members of the political parties, represented at the Parliament and independent deputies.
According to Aliyev, the 13 May by-elections on 10 constituencies will be held due to incompleteness of the composition of the Parliament. Both independent candiadtes and members of political parties may win at the by-elections. In such cases those elected to the Parliament are to be represented at CEC. В"I suppose, forming of CEC new composition needs to be done after the parliamentary by-elections. It is also the requirement of the Council of Europe, he said.
