The first meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland will be held in September 2006, the Polish embassy in Baku told Trend.
In compliance with a recent presidential decree on the formation of an intergovernmental commission, Heydar Babayev, the Minister for Economic Development, was appointed a chair of the commission. Piotr Wazniak, the Polish Economy Minister, performs the same duties on the part of Poland.
The two sides will shortly define the perspectives fields for development of cooperation, schedule am action plan and submit their proposals.
