The meeting of the Council of Chairmen of block Our Azerbaijan was held. The meeting discussed the issue of election of a new chairman of the block for June-July, Trend reports.
Collecting the majority of votes, the chairman of the Democratic Socialist Popular Party Zahid Srfibayli was elected the chairman of block Our Azerbaijan for the next months. Besides, other questions were discussed at the meeting. The Council of Chairmen expressed attitude towards the talks held between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Bucharest on solution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and supported the position of official Baku.
The final discussion was dedicated to the issue of the unification of Our Azerbaijan block member-parties. The report of the Unification Commission was heard. In accordance with the agreement, it is intended to call the structure, in which the parties will unify, Our Way.
