The final results of the re-run, by-elections, new, and first elections to 603 municipalities held in Azerbaijan on October 6, 2006 have been published. The initial protocols on the municipal elections have been signed by the members of the Central Election Committee (CEC) of Azerbaijan during the sitting of the Committee today, on October 25, Trend reports.
The results of the elections are considered true in 600 municipalities, and false in 3 others. During the meeting, the results of the re-run, by-election, new, and first municipal elections held in Azerbaijan on October 6, 2006, including the CEC final protocol was approved.
The results of the municipal elections will be placed on the CEC web site tomorrow, on October 26.
