Today, Azerbaijan President, Ilham Aliyev met the Mayor of Berlin City and has been interviewed by German leading TV Channel Deutsche Welle. Then, the Azerbaijan leader met Michael Zukkoff , the President of the Zukkoff Foundation, Trend reports referring to National AzTV Channel.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions concerning projects implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as those ones where the German Foundation participated.
The Azerbaijan President also met chiefs of German largest companies, who enter the Eastern and Central Society of Germany. During the meeting, issues on cooperation in oil, gas, construction, cement, steel, energy, metallurgy, shipbuilding, banking, and other spheres were discussed.
In the afternoon, Mr. Aliyev met Franc Walter Steinmeier, German Federal Foreign Minister. The parties discussed the issues which were of mutual interest. The Head of the Azerbaijan State met the head of German Bundestag.
