Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Aghayeva / The Azerbaijani Government has been invited to the annual economic forum to be held in Slovenia in August, 2007. According to the Slovenian Consul to Azerbaijan, Borut Megusar, the invitation has already been submitted to the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister, Natik Aliyev. Supplies of energy resources from the Caspian region to Western Europe will be discussed at the forum. Influential representatives of world business circles, politicians, Presidents and heads of government have also been invited.
In 2006, Azerbaijan was represented at the forum by the President Ilham Aliyev.
