Three people injured in a special operation conducted by the police in Baku's Nardaran settlement are at the hospital, Fikret Zeynalov, the head physician of the third hospital in Sabunchu district, told Trend Dec. 1.
"These people are being treated," he said. "Their condition is normal."
On Nov. 26 four members of a criminal group, operating under the guise of religion, were killed during a police operation in Nardaran.
Two police officers were also killed in the standoff.
Fourteen members of the criminal group were arrested along with the group's ringleader Tale Baghirov.
The Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies started a special operation in Baku's Nardaran settlement from 08:00 (UTC/GMT +4 hours) December 1 to ensure the citizens' rights, freedom, protect their legitimate interests, seize firearms, explosives and devices, a joint statement of the Interior Ministry, the General Prosecutor's Office and the National Security Ministry said.
