Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, visited the hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ombudsman Institute told Trend.
The Ombudsman met with the law-enforcement officers subjected to violence during prevention of unsanctioned action in the capital. They noted that the participants of the action beat them with iron rods wrapped in paper.
Suleymanova also met with the doctors treating the policemen. The doctors reported that 24 policemen with different injures enter the hospital. 8 of them are under medical observation.
