A publishing department will be created at the Azerbaijani ministry of Culture and Tourism in order to promote its current activities, the minister of culture and tourism, Abulfaz Garayev told journalists, Trend reports.
Intellectual property has a vital role in the development of any society, he said. Thus, its necessary create new pieces of art corresponding to the needs and wishes of people. Many valuable works of gifted authors now have no chance to be published, due to the financial difficulties, whereas some works with no value at all are published in large circulations.
Ministry is about to improve that process, attracting state resources to publish good works, translating them for world markets, the minister said.
