230 new schools and supplementary buildings will be constructed in Azerbaijan by the end of 2006, Trend reports with reference to Ministry of Education.
Based on the state education and Heydar Aliyev Fund and Saudi Development Fund projects the new schools and supplementary buildings (163+67) for 91,572 places are being constructed with the following commissioning of 44, 438 places.
An overhaul of 69 schools is performed. As against the previous years, the Ministry was going to make repairs in 46 institutions, including 44 schools and 2 kindergartens.
Furthermore, supplementary buildings of approximately 12 schools will be raised in various districts of Baku: Sabuchi, Binafgadi, Azizbekov, Surakhani and Garadagh.
