A surplus was recorded in the state budget of Azerbaijan from January through September 2021, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, the revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 9M2021 amounted to 18.9 billion manats ($11 billion), which is 1.2 billion manats ($706 million) higher than expenditures, which were set at 17.7 billion manats ($10.4 billion).
As a result, the budget for nine months of 2021 was executed with a surplus of 1.236 billion manats ($727 million).
Azerbaijan's GDP in 9M2021 amounted to 62.9 billion manats ($37 billion), which is 4.8 percent more compared to the same period last year. At the same time, GDP per capita in 9M2021 amounted to 6,279 manats ($3,694).
