Azerbaijan notes decrease in fixed capital inflows in 11M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 18

Investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan in 11M2021 amounted to 11.7 billion manat ($6.9 billion), which is 11.2 percent less than the same period last year - 12.71 billion manat ($7.5 billion), Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, investments in the oil and gas and non-oil sectors decreased by 8.7 and 12.9 percent, respectively, compared to 11M2020.

It is reported that 66.1 percent of investments in fixed assets, or 7.74 billion manat ($4.5 billion), fell on the production sector, 3.079 billion manat ($1.8 billion), or 26.3 percent - in the service sector, 887.9 million manat ($522.4 million), or 7.6 percent - for the construction of residential buildings.

In addition, 7.83 billion manat ($4.607 billion), or 67.0 percent of funds, which were allocated to fixed assets, accounted for domestic funds.

Also, 7.78 billion manat ($4.577 billion), or 66.5 percent of the funds, was spent on construction and installation work in the specified period.

In the total amount of funds allocated to fixed capital, funds of enterprises and organizations amounted to 54.4 percent, budget funds - 25.18 percent, other funds - 5.85 percent, personal funds of the population - 7.22 percent, bank loans - 7.28 percent.
