Azerbaijan exported fertilizers worth $96.06 million from January through November 2021, which is by over 10 times more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the statistics bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
The share of fertilizers in the total Azerbaijani export volume increased from 0.07 percent to 0.49 percent for the year.
The import of fertilizers to Azerbaijan reached $42.5 million for the reporting period, decreasing on an annualized basis by 126 percent or $53.6 million.
The share of fertilizers in the total Azerbaijani import volume decreased from 0.99 percent to 0.41 percent for the year.
Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover as a whole increased by 32.85 percent or $7.5 billion from January through November 2021 compared to the same period of last year - from $22.7 billion to $30.2 billion.
The export volume reached $19.8 billion in the structure of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the reporting period while import volume - $10.4 billion, having increased in annual terms by 51.6 percent and 7.47 percent, respectively.
