BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. The nominal incomes of the Azerbaijani population from January through May 2023 increased by 14.7 percent, or 3.88 billion manat ($2.28 billion) year-on-year, and reached 30.3 billion manat ($17.8 billion), Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee, per capita income in the reporting period grew by 14 percent, or 366.5 manat ($215.59), during the specified period.
Meanwhile, the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions grew by 14.7 percent, or 3.4 billion manat ($2 billion) compared to the same period in 2022. At the same time, per capita income rose by 14 percent, or 322.1 manat ($189.4).

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population in 2022 rose by 20.5 percent, or 11.7 billion manat ($6.8 billion) compared to 2021, and reached 68.9 billion manat ($40.5 billion). During this period, income per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent, or 1,134 manat ($667).
