Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 February / Trend / In January 2008, the production price of agricultural products increased by 1.1% compared to the previous month and by 3.3% compared to January 2007.
According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, in January, the index of prices for plant products comprised 101.8% as compared to December 2007. The price of fruit and filbert increased by 0.5%, for vegetables and gardening products by 3%.
The price index of cattle products made up 101% as compared to the previous month. The price for cattle and cattle products increased by 1.5%, for poultry and eggs by 0.8%, for sheep by 0.5%. The price for hunting products and fish decreased by 0.1%.
