International Labor Organization to allocate big grant for Azerbaijan to liquidate forced labor

International Labor Organization intends to allocate €2.4 million to realize the second phase of "Liquidation of forced labor" program in the Caucasus. Part of funds will be allocated to Azerbaijan, the ILO's special action program to combat forced labor head Roger Plant said on May 27 during presentation of ILO annual report "Forced labor state".

"Azerbaijan is one of countries actively fighting against forced labor," Plant said.

Azerbaijan will be able to fight against forced labor with confidence by getting this grant, he said.

International Labor Organization is UN specialized institution, international organization dealing with labor relations regulation. Roughly 182 nations are participants of ILO by 2009.
