The State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan in January-July held monitoring of quality of products and commodities in 1145 business entities, the State Committee said today.
"The monitoring revealed non-observance of requirements of normative documents of products in the amount of 229,700 manat. The committee sent reprimand to the heads of industrial subjects on the production of 232 items of products and requirements, prohibiting the production and sale of 68 product items," the Committee said.
In general, during the first seven months of 2010, enterprise heads, who have violated the legal requirements under the Code of Administrative Violations, was fined in the amount of 102,700 manat.
