The production prices on crop and livestock products increased by 12.4 percent in January 2011 and by 2,2 percent in December last year, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
The production prices on one and two year-old agricultural products increased by 12.3 percent per year, and in January - by 0.4 percent. Grain and leguminous plants rose in price by 14,6 percent (in January - by 0.4 percent), including wheat - by 37 percent (in January it cheapened by 0.3 percent), maize - by 30.4 percent ( growth at 4.7 percent), barley - by 22.1 percent (0.2 percent), green beans vegetables - by 16.5 percent, potatoes - by 11.5 percent (1.7 percent), raw cotton - by 8.3 percent, fodder plants - 22,6 percent.
Watermelon and melon cheapened by 1.9 percent, vegetables - by 3.4 percent (in January - by 0.9 percent), etc.
Perennial plants rose in price by 14.9 percent compared to January last year, while in December last year - by 11.3 percent.
Citrus fruits rose in price by 6.6 percent (in January cheapened by 0.4 percent), nuts - by 10.1 percent (an increase of 3.9 percent), tropical and subtropical fruit - by 1.2 percent ( 4.8 percent), berries cheapened - by 4,9 percent.
The production prices on veal increased by 10.1 percent for the year (in January by 9 percent), lamb - by 3.9 percent, lamb and goat's milk - 3.9 percent, pork - by 56.2 percent (in January - by 25,5 percent), poultry and eggs - 9.8 percent (0.7 percent), poultry meat - by 4,1 percent, fresh eggs - by 38.4 per cent (1,4 percent), natural honey - by 5,9 percent.
The production prices on fish and fish products for the year decreased by 5.4 percent (in January - by 11,1 per cent), forestry products - by 0,1 percent.
