Azerbaijani, Russian transport ministers to discuss border crossing procedures

Today the Russian Transport Ministry will submit proposals to Azerbaijan on introducing new techniques for border transport control between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Russian customs union, Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin said in Baku.
He said techniques include passing all the necessary procedures within cargo transportation through Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on the Azerbaijani-Russian border.
Such techniques are already being implemented along the Belarus-European Union border and the border between Kazakhstan and the Central Asia countries.
As Levitin said, small problems were observed along the Belarusian western border with Europe when introducing new technology in truck operation. But this issue will not be a factor on the Azerbaijani-Russian border, he said.
