Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept. 26 /Trend, A.Akhundov/
The proposal on the land market of Baku grew by 1.3 percent, director general of MBA Group Consulting Company Nusret Ibrahimov told Trend on Monday.
"This increase is mainly due to an increase in the number of expensive land plots," said Ibrahimov.
"About 67 percent of 813 ha land area accounted for empty areas and the rest new for old residential areas and non-residential areas. The price index for the month rose by 2.5 percent to 476.7 points," Ibrahimov said.
"During the summer months of 2011, there was high activity on the land market in the suburban areas. The growth of construction of private houses has taken place in Surakhani, Sabunchu, Binagadi and Khazar districts," said Ibrahimov.
According to him, the term of land exposure on the market fell by 1.8 percent to 348 days. "In August, demand was mainly in areas distant from the center, as the proposal in the city center continues to reduce, which is associated with a reduction of land plots in the center," said Ibrahimov.
