The plant for the production of drinking water and soft drinks, commissioned in the mountainous village Kurudjey ( Makhtumkuli etrap of the Balkan region), has begun product supply to sales outlets of the region, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Friday.
According to the report , the plant's capacity is 1,350 dkl of water per hour, built by order of the Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Ministry and the Food Industry Association, which produces clean drinking water, carbonated water and fruit drinks.
A special water line with a length of nearly two kilometers has been laid from the mountain spring Uch Archa, which is situated near the Kurudjey village, close to the plant's installations.
The o pening of the new production has contributed to an in increase in local employment.
