The price on coal from Sulukta field increased in the North of Tajikistan, Asia-Plus reported on Monday.
According to the dealers, the price on coal hits 1.5 somoni per kilo or about 65 percent more compared to last winter.
They can not explain the reason of Sulukta coal price rise, but high demand for coal from this field might be one of the major reasons of the rise.
The price on Sulukta coal in the northern Tajikistan is higher than for coal, produced in the region.
Last year the production of coal in this region increased by 30 percent.
