Israeli Government's decision to suspend air flights in several countries after the terrorist attack in Bulgaria doesn't refer to Azerbaijan, the Israeli embassy in Baku told Trend on Friday.

The Israeli government has decided to suspend flights to some countries - Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, South Africa and Thailand for security reasons after the terrorist attack at the airport in Burgas (Bulgaria), The Jewish Week wrote.

A parked bus with Israeli tourists was blown up at the airport in the Bulgarian city of Burgas on July 18. The attack killed seven people, five of them - the citizens of Israel. Local media say that the other two victims were citizens of Bulgaria. According to recent reports, 35 people were injured. Bulgarian Interior Ministry defined the blow as act of terrorism.

Flights between Baku and Tel Aviv are not daily, and therefore the decision of the Israeli government doesn't refer to them, the embassy said.

Flights on the route Baku-Tel Aviv are carried out twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The plane departs from Baku at 09:35 local time.

The flights on this route are implemented by Azerbaijani Airlines.
