The Iranian parliament (Majlis) has approved a bill based upon which the administration will be allowed to receive and pay 410 trillion rials (about $33 billion) during the first quarter of the next Iranian calendar year which starts on March 21, in accordance with the next year's national budget bill, the Mehr News Agency reported.
The sum will be used by the administration to pay salaries of civil servants as well as run current affairs of government organisations.
On February 27, the Iranian administration submitted the 7,300 trillion rials (about $595.4 billion) budget bill for the next Iranian calendar year.
The proposed budget has increased by 22 per cent compared to the year before.
