Since Tuesday, March 26, 2013, the Committee of the Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan removed temporary restrictions on imports of dairy products of the two companies of Kyrgyzstan: OJSC "Bishkek - Sut" and LLC "Kant-Sut" that allowed them to import products only to Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and South Kazakhstan regions, the Press Service of the Ministry of Agriculture informed Trend.

This decision was made by the Committee in an agreement with the veterinary services of the Member States of the Customs Union on the basis of the joint field inspection of 11 dairy companies in Kyrgyzstan, which took place in December 2012.

With regard to the other dairy companies, temporary restrictions remain in force due to their inability to meet the animal health requirements of the Customs Union.
