Iran's local flights has decreased by 6 per cent during first three months of the current solar year (started on March 21) compared to the same period last year, Jahanesanat daily reported.
According to the report, some 102,900 flights has been carried out from airports of Iran's national airports company during first quarter of last solar year, while the figure for same period in this year was 101,317 flights which indicates a drop of 1.5 per cent.
Total 43,054 local flights have been recorded during first three month of last solar year, while the amount for this solar year's first quarter stood at 40,284 flights which increased by 6 per cent, the report said.
Total 16,602 international flights from Iran's national airports company's airports have been recorded during first quarter of the current solar year, which indicates a decrease by 5.5 per cent compared to 17,576 flights that have been recorded in same period last solar year.
According to the report, some 42,070 international transit flights through Iran's air zone have been recorded during first three months of the current solar year, while the figure for last solar year's same period stood at 39,418 flights, which shows an increase by 6.7 per cent.
