Moscow is convinced that the project on construction of a gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey, which takes into account the interests of European consumers as well, and meets the objectives of diversification of energy flows, will be realized, RIA Novosti news agency reported.
"The Turkish leadership in face of the president and the prime minister has confirmed a deep interest in developing cooperation with Russia within the framework of the new project, and we have no doubt that it will be implemented within the interests of our two countries," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said at a briefing in Moscow.
