Insurance premiums of Azerbaijan’s 10 major insurance companies totaled 276.16 million manats in 1H17, said the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
The figure accounts for 88.3 percent of all the insurance premiums collected during the period.
Twenty-two insurance companies operate in Azerbaijan.

Pasha Insurance continues to lead the ranking in terms of the premiums collected during the period. The company’s share of the total collected premiums was 28.8 percent.
Pasha Life ranked the second in the list with 24.1 percent, being followed by Ateshgah Life, the share of which was 6 percent.
