Car makers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan developing long-term co-op

Uzbek Uzavtosanoat JSC, represented by Deputy Chairman of the Board Rustam Yusupov, and Kazakhstan's JSC Allur Group, represented by Vice President for Business Development Yuriy Afanasyev, signed a memorandum on cooperation.

Uzavtosanoat said that with Allur Group they are developing a long-term cooperation strategy to increase sales and occupy the dominant market share in Kazakhstan.

The document stipulates cooperation on modernization of the technical base of the auto industry enterprises in Kazakhstan. In addition, the sides will search for suppliers and buyers of products of Uzavtosanoat enterprises at the production facilities of Allur Group.

The memorandum provides for carrying out trade, trade and intermediary, commodity exchange operations, including export-import operations, development and implementation of possible joint projects, exchange of information and provision of services.

Under the document, the parties will consider the possibility of expanding the model range of products for the Kazakh market.

JSC Group of Companies Allur is a shareholder of the largest automaker of Kazakhstan, LLP SariarkaAvtoProm, a shareholder of agricultural machinery manufacturer Agromashholding, and an official distributor, manufacturer and dealer of SsangYong, Peugeot, Iveco, JAC, Hyundai, Ravon, Niva Chevrolet and an official dealer of Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Ravon and Ford in the territory of Kazakhstan.
