New agro-enterprises launched in Kazakhstan

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the opening of enterprises for the production of agricultural products in several regions of Kazakhstan through a nationwide teleconference.
In particular, such enterprises as Maslodel LLP in the North-Kazakhstan region, Zhayik Agro LLP in the West Kazakhstan region, Vostok-Moloko LLP in the East Kazakhstan region were launched.
The head of state noted that Kazakhstan pays huge attention to the development of enterprises for processing and production of agricultural products.
"We are an agrarian state, and our agrarian opportunities are our future incentive and our prospect," the president said, adding that agro processing is of high importance.
A nationwide teleconference called "New industrialization of the country: the leap of the Kazakh leopard" kicked off in Astana on Dec.6. The TV broadcasting is provided by 25 mobile television stations, "KazSat" satellite and national communication operators.
Kazakhstan for 6 months of 2017 increased exports of almost all agricultural crops. For the first half of this year, the gross output in agriculture increased by 3.1 percent and amounted to 887.5 billion tenge.
For the first five months of this year, in physical terms, 3.8 million tons were exported ($880 million).
