Kazakhstan’s international reserves increase

The volume of international reserves of Kazakhstan in February 2018 increased by 0.15 percent, compared to the previous month, the press service of the National Bank of Kazakhstan said in a message.

Since early 2018, the volume of international reserves of Kazakhstan increased by 1.95 percent, to $90.802 billion.

The gross international reserves of Kazakhstan increased by 0.27 percent to $31.434 billion in February 2018 (by 2.24 percent in January-February), and the net international reserves increased by 0.29 percent to $30.915 billion.

The volume of assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan amounted to $59.368 billion, increasing by 0.09 percent in February. The volume of assets in freely convertible currency amounted to $18.404 billion, demonstrating a 0.76 percent increase in the mentioned period. The volume of gold assets, in turn, decreased by 0.41 percent to $13.03 billion.
