In 2018, Azerbaijan is expected to have one of the lowest inflation among the CIS energy exporting countries, according to the UN report 'World Economic Prospects and Situation 2018'.
According to UN experts, in 2018, inflation in Azerbaijan will more than halve compared to 2017 and amount to 5.9 percent. In 2019, inflation in the country can reach 7.5 percent.

In January-April 2018, the inflation rate in Azerbaijan was 3.5 percent. Monthly inflation was 0.2 percent in April.
