Azerbaijani company Karat Holding LLC will increase flour production volumes, a source in the company told Trend.
This year, the company will increase production by 10-15 percent, according to the source.
“The current production volumes are 700 tons of flour per day, the products are in steady demand and are fully sold in Baku and the districts,” the source noted. “The company’s production capacity makes it possible to further increase the volumes, but we plan to do this in stages in order to fully sell products in the trade network, and so that the flour doesn’t remain in the warehouses.”
The source added that there is quite serious competition in this market segment, noting that the production volumes shouldn’t exceed sales volumes.
The products have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The plant uses equipment of Turkish and the US production.
