The export by small industrial enterprises located in industrial parks of Iran’s northeastern North Khorasan Province reached 14 million euros in the last Iranian year (starting on March 21, 2018), Siavash Vahdat, Managing Director of Industrial Town of North Khorasan Province, told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to him, a 6-million euro export plan was set last year for small industrial enterprises of the province, which a year before exported products worth 5 million euros. Vahdat added that 56 large-scale and small-scale projects amounted to 86 billion rials (app. $2.04 million) were implemented in the industrial parks last year.
Speaking about the projects implemented in the Industrial Town of North Khorasan Province last year, Vahdat named a 13-kilowatt solar panel electric station and a gas-reduction plant as the most important projects.
"This year, an electric substation is being built in the Bojnord Special Economic Zone. For the construction, 25 billion rials (app. $595,000) of the estimated 50 billion rials (app. $1.19 million) have been allocated so far," he said.
Iran's North Khorasan Province has nine industrial parks and six industrial zones, with 322 production facilities.
