Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad intends to expand cooperation in the field of seed production and supply with other countries, including Germany and Spain, Deputy Agriculture Minister Abbas Keshavarz said.
He was speaking at a meeting with representatives of KWC Germany, Spanish Cellibitec and the Iranian Central Union of Rural and Agricultural Cooperatives, Trend reports referring to the ministry’s website.
He said that Iran is trying to transfer technology and knowledge in the field of seed production to the country.
At the meeting, it was noted that cooperation with Iran on the production and import of seeds of greens and vegetables, especially cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, rapeseed, corn and sugar beet is among the goals of Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.
