Azerbaijan's instrument-making plant talks new industrial product

One of the largest industrial enterprises in Azerbaijan, Ganja Instrument-Making Plant, has determined the volume of manufacturing of new products, Deputy Director of the pklant Yusif Pashazade told Trend.

The deputy director said that it is about ball valves designed for domestic use, the production of which will begin in the next two to three months.

“The development of a new type of product is completed. We are going to begin the production process in May - June 2020. Initially it was planned to produce up to 50,000 pieces of products at the first stage, which is quite realistic. At the same time, products manufactured at the first stage will be sold only domestically,” Pashazade noted.

“At the next stage, that is, closer to the end of 2020, we are going to produce these products in the amount of up to 70,000-80,000 units and export them to Georgia and Russia. In the future, we plan to increase the geography of deliveries to the Commonwealth Independent States,” said the deputy director.

At present, the Ganja Instrument-Making Plant is operating at full capacity, and all the workshops of the enterprise are involved in the technological process.

Currently, the company produces water meters, gas pressure regulators, gas control points, LED lamps, while water meters and gas control points are in the greatest demand.

Ganja Instrument-Making Plant is one of the biggest Azerbaijani enterprises in the field of instrument making, engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems.

The plant’s activity is aimed at developing and raising the level of instrument making in Azerbaijan and creating modern, high-quality water meters, gas pressure regulators and other measuring instruments that are in demand in the market within the country and abroad.

The plant is located on the territory covering more than five hectares. The production area covers 6,000 square meters.
