Turkmen farm plans to introduce new local breeds of poultry

The Maksada okgunly poultry farm, located in the Geoktepe district of Turkmenistan's Akhal region, plans to carry out breeding works and develop new local breeds of poultry, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The poultry farm is located on an area of 23 hectares and is equipped with technological equipment from the French company Aviagen. The poultry farm has separate workshops for incubating and keeping turkeys, raising turkeys, etc.

The poultry farm has a digital control for monitoring poultry houses, as well as 5 measuring devices.

Another private company, Miras, located in the Akhal region, also produces poultry feed. So, the company manufactures 10 tons of products per hour. Currently, Miras produces 4 types of feed enriched with corn. It is also planned to expand production.

In addition, Nurly meýdan produces 10 tons of granulated feed per hour at its plant in the Balkan region. The annual capacity of the enterprise is 72,000 tons.

In general, poultry farming has become one of the most developed areas for entrepreneurs in Turkmenistan. Great achievements have been made in this area, as evidenced by the presence of numerous farms and modern complexes for breeding poultry and processing products from it.
