The Azerbaijani exporters have been constantly supported through the Made in Azerbaijan brand promotion mechanism since 2016, Director of the Department of Export Promotion of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Tural Hajili told Trend.
"The assistance is rendered to the local exporters to conduct various market research, obtain certificates and search for sales channels at international exhibition fairs through a single stand or in other ways through this mechanism," Hajili added.
At the same time, activity is being carried out to explore the missions of the exporter and the buyer, which plays an important role in terms of direct communication between the exporter and the buyer.
"Moreover, the project of the "Export Academy" exercises in a pilot mode has been completed through the support of the Azerbaijani ministry of education and ministry of economy, the purpose of which is to improve the skills of export managers working in the non-oil industry and the private sector," Hajili said.
The director of the department added that AZPROMO renders services to exporters privately.
"So, when exporters have any difficulties in terms of expanding export, support mechanisms are offered to them privately and their problems are solved with the help of the relevant state agencies," Hajili said.
