“In 2006 the Azerbaijani State Caspian Shipping Company (KASPAR) plans to transport at least 14m tons cargo,” Aydin Bashirov, the chairman of the Company, told Trend.
According to Bashirov, 70% of cargo transportation will fall to oil cargo.
From January to November the Company transported 12.4m tons cargo or 1.0% more as compared 2004. A total of 72.3% comprises oil and oil products, 27.7% - dry cargo.
