By August 2006, the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan Republic is planning to start implementing the project of construction of Baku round way, Javid Gurbanov, the head of the ministrys department of Yolnagliyatservis, informed, Trend reports.
According to him, the ministry has held the second assessment offered by Arabic CCIC and Turkish Macyol the companies that offered the lowest price for the realization of
the project. Proposals of these companies have been sent to Kuwaiti development Fund, for confirmation. The bank should appoint a contractor.
This process should be completed within a month, right after that it planned to start the construction.
The remaining finance for the realization of the project will be provided by the Azeri government. The construction work will be divided into three parts. The project is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2008.
