(www.autoinsidernews.com) вЂ" Nissan previewed its restyled 2008 Pathfinder ahead of its public debut at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. For 2008, the big news will be under the hood, with the Pathfinder's first V8 engine in its 22-years in the U.S.
The 2008 Pathfinder will be offered with the 5.6L V8 also used in the full-size Titan truck and full-size Armada SUV. While Nissan hasn't confirmed the engine's official output, it has said that it will be rated at 300-plus horsepower and 300-plus lb-ft of torque. The Pathfinder will also be available with the 266-hp 4.0L V6, reports Trend.
The 2008 Pathfinder will get a revised front end, including a new grille with a larger center section and smaller side sections, and a reshaped bumper with larger air intake and restyled faux skidplate. Inside the Pathfinder will feature a restyled high-quality interior, new switch gear, and a new center stack design. A revised Nissan Navigation System and hard drive-based entertainment system are also available.
