Register of Subjects of Key Positions to be Created in CIS Territory

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The second meeting of the working group in preparation of proposals to improve the mutual actions of anti-monopoly bodies of CIS countries took place in Moscow to ensure the implementation of decisions of the 24th meeting of the Interstate Council for Anti-Monopoly Policy.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, the event brought together representatives of the anti-monopoly bodies of CIS countries and Head of the Secretariat of the Council. Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by the employees of the State Anti-Monopoly Service of the Ministry of Economic Development, Metin Badalov and Idrak Alekperov.

The working group discussed the issues of defining markets to hold joint investigations, make international register of subjects (CIS) supporting the key opposition and rules to exchange information amongst anti-monopoly bodies.

After discussions, it was recommended to work out projects of documents, taking into consideration the proposals and remarks, and it was decided to submit it to the meeting of the Interstate Council for Anti-Monopoly Policy.
